I have found a pine tree that was cut down and looked like a woman’s body. I subtracted just a bit of material to emphasize the shape and left much of the natural tree. The pinecone on the waist remains. I did not touch the crumbling and decay of the wood. Symboled the fact that even when a woman is old or sick she continues to nurture.
